WHO WE ARE

Next NY is a civic organization focused on building a stronger, more affordable future for New York City.

We believe New Yorkers want the same basic things:
a city they can afford, strong public schools, reliable transit, safe neighborhoods, and a government that works.

Today, too many families are being priced out of their communities, struggling to find stable housing, and stuck in a broken system no longer offering opportunities to all New Yorkers.

Too often, the voices of hard-working New Yorkers are overlooked in the civic conversation. Next NY exists to change that.

We are building a diverse, citywide coalition grounded in competence and results. Our goal is to strengthen civic engagement and give everyday New Yorkers a greater voice in shaping policy, participating in the citywide conversation, and ensuring our leaders are informed by the priorities of the communities they serve.

We connect communities, elevate practical and innovative ideas, and support democratic leaders who are prepared to govern and deliver real progress for the people who make this city run.
